Would anyone take there 7-12 years young child to a children's day spa?

I had never heard of such a thing. I wouldn't because I feel it would be teaching my child the wrong things. Beauty is not, or at least shouldn't be, important at that age. If you have a girl, why not just schedule some Mommy-daugher time and paint each other's toenails, use the facial scrubs, etc. That way it will be focused on quality time, rather than ';beauty';.Would anyone take there 7-12 years young child to a children's day spa?
I don't have kids, but I sure wouldn't if I have kids. I mean, kids at that age should be going out and having fun at the park or something. Not at a spa. And I think spas are a luxury that adults should enjoy. So when they grow up, they can go whenever they want if they can afford it. They shouldn't be enjoying now what the adults do. Then what are they going to do when they're grown. We should do different things at different stages in our life, not do everything when we're young. Then everything will be boring later in life. 7 - 12 year olds, go to the park! Save the spa for later!Would anyone take there 7-12 years young child to a children's day spa?
My daughter got her first massage when she was 8 and she loved it. The worker allowed what ever level of clothing my daughter was comfortable with and I stayed in the room. Our kids today have much more stress and demands on them than we did and I wanted to show my daughter there were a variety of options available rather than alcohol or drug use as she gets older and has even more stress to deal with.

I'd rather pay to pamper than pay bail.
maybe. but dont make it a weekly thing. maybe u could take them out for a girls day and take them to the spa. just do it every like 6 months maybe?? or once a year on their b-day. just dont make it a habit. and it is nice to make them feel special. :)
i do not think that a 7-12 year old should be at a day spa. most people go to relax or treat your self. it is hard to enjoy with a child in this age range . people should think about themselves and others.please be considerate.
NO. It's too adult even if it's geared to children. Kids are pushed to grow up to fast by the world. Kids need to be just kids without all the adult type pressure put on them.
I don't have a child yet, but I personally wouldn't. It's spoiling them and I want to teach my child to have some work ethic
You gotta have some place to dump the kids while you take the pets to the pet spa.

You said it is a children's day spa. Sure if you can afford! YES!
Yes! When I have children, I really want girls, because I'd love to take them to things like that.
